Jaime L. Birch focuses her practice on representing a wide range of clients, including domestic and international air carriers, commercial airports, insurance companies, corporate entities, and insureds in complex civil litigation matters in connection with aviation and aerospace law, which includes premises liability, bodily injury, wrongful death, property damage, products liability, general tort claims, contract disputes, and commercial litigation.
Mrs. Birch earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and a minor in English from Whitworth University in 2016, graduating Cum Laude. In 2018, she obtained her Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law.
After graduating law school, Mrs. Birch practiced as a criminal defense attorney in Washington State, advocating for clients during all stages of criminal litigation. Her interest in criminal law began during her law school internships with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington and the Public Defender’s Office in Spokane, Washington.
Prior to joining KMA Zuckert, Mrs. Birch defended a variety of claims, including general casualty, mass tort, personal injury, premises liability, and transportation disputes, as well as matters related to the Child Victims Act. Mrs. Birch gained experience managing complex insurance claims and navigating contractual indemnification issues to transfer risk, liability, and indemnity. Mrs. Birch provided strategic risk management advice, and oversaw comprehensive litigation and claims management from investigation to resolution.
