Maxim P. Maiello handles commercial litigation actions and has experience defending clients on a variety of complex personal injury matters.
Mr. Maiello graduated with Honors and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Environmental Policy from the College of William & Mary, where he also completed a semester internship with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. While earning his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Maiello was a semifinalist in the international Price Media Law Moot Court Competition and began working with the New York City Law Department's Tort Division as an Honors Intern. After graduation, he continued to defend City employees and agencies on hundreds of state tort actions, including a large volume of depositions, dispositive and discovery motions, and oral arguments. Mr. Maiello then transitioned to defending federal civil rights actions, including personal injury allegations, on behalf of the City prior to beginning at KMA Zuckert.
